what "energy source" is there in gas that enables it to combust/ignite and create exhaust of a cal..10 points!? : Eco Answers

See I am always on the
search for good videos on
Alternative Energy Sources. This evening, I
ran into a very
fun article that talks over Eco Energy Sources from a new
point of view. Today’s article is titled what “energy source” is there in gas that enables it to combust/ignite and create exhaust of a cal..10 points!? .
Question by ihateoldyork: what “energy source” is there in gas that enables it to combust/ignite and create exhaust of a cal..10 points!?
I previously asked a question where I wanted to know why water would not work to power motor vehicles in lieu of gas, since like gas water also creates “exhaust” (vapor) when heated. I was told that unlike water and other liquids, gas combusts when it is heated and the exhaust created upon combustion is of a calibur strong enough to turn the turbines in the engine of a motor vehicle, but apparently water vapor is not strong enough to do this (since water does not ignite). So I would just like to know what it is about gas/what component is there in gas that makes it stronger or causes it to ignite that is not found in water. Also, is strength the only element that makes water not work in lieu of gas, or is it something else? Because I know other vehicles like trains and boats did essentially used to run off of water (steam), and I am sure they needed just as much strength, if not more than today’s motor vehicles.

Chemical/thermal.Laws of thermodynamics (look em up).Energy can neither be created,or destroyed, only converted. What were talking here is potential energy, distribution, storage and use.Ships and trains ‘did not’ run on water, they ran on fuel, wood, coal, coke etc.The fuel was used to heat the water (conversion) to generate steam, this in turn provided the drive,in very much the same way that nuclear reactors heat or super heat water to drive turbines.Back to water, the most unique substance in the universe, properties like nothing else (look it up).absolutely essential to every known form of life and,to date,a finite resource. And you want to use it to drive your car! Think about it,were in this shit from the mistakes made in the past.If you want to experiment with alternate technology’s.go invent and build some form of e.m.f net to capture the suns energy, now there’s an almost infinite resource.

What do you think? Answer below!
