perspective. Today’s fun article is titled The longest song ever not written by Wagner. Please C/C (Do you have all day)? .
Question by Happy Hiram: The longest song ever not written by Wagner. Please C/C (Do you have all day)?
Cabbala Canto Explained

“There’s a lady who’s sure all that glitters is gold and she’s buying a stairway to heaven…”

Strofa I
A lady of privilege and rank
Or an adept climbing the tree
Sure of her mystical bank
Her cabbala is ready to be.

“When she gets there she knows, if the stores are all closed with a word she can get what she came for…”

Strofa II
Words are the arc of this tale
The adept disregarding the hour
Thru all bars she at last must not fail
In her questing for knowledge & power.

“There’s a sign on the wall but she wants to be sure ’cause you know sometimes words have two meanings…”

Strofa III
Is it money or magic that conquers
Or are they both one and the same?
A syllablic statement that succors,
What is it that “lies” in a name?

“In a tree by the brook, there’s a songbird who sings sometimes all of our thoughts are misgiven…”

Strofa IV
“So pricketh him nature,” was said
By Chaucer in his antique Tales
We lead from our trusty old head
But the bowel’s sure reign still prevails.

“There’s a feeling I get when I look to the west and my spirit is crying for leaving…”

Saddled twixt our guts and our brain
The heart longs for chance to take flight
To commune with the spirits of Eden
And read the astrology of the night.

“In my thoughts I have seen rings of smoke through the trees and the voices of those who stand looking…”

Strofa VI
Two meanings they both hotly gleam
From the midsts of the smokes silent passage;
The vivacity caught up by the steam
And the seekers who vivisect it’s message.

“And it’s whispered that soon if we all call the tune then the piper will lead us to reason…”

Strofa VII
The dance, the dance of this useless mind
Has caught us all in it’s crystalline gait
Follow down, follow down oh you blind
For the crave-lights? We’ll just have to wait…

“And a new day will dawn for those who stand long and the forests will echo with laughter…”

Strofa VIII
Eden was but made-up by mankind
To describe that valley of heart’s soil
Where are soul sets seeds so sublime
And where effort is never quite toil.

“If there’s a bustle in your hedgerow, don’t be alarmed now.
It’s just a spring clean for the May Queen…”

Strofa IX
Against nature’s turbulent chaining
That shake us and rattle our cages
The harvest required, its explaining,
Leaves no peace for its ladies or sages.

“Yes, there are two paths you can go by, but in the long run there’s still time to change the road you’re on…”

Strofa X
Will it then be the mud or the dreams;
Rotten peaches, or the glimmer of fuzz?
Can your magic defy all that seems?
Pesky reality returns with a buzz.

“Your head is humming and it won’t go, in case you don’t know; The piper’s calling you to join him…”

Strofa XI
Dark Jötunheim calls and we rush
The perilous take-ease of ignorance
Do we hear the faint voices we can trust
O’er the blare of ego and arrogance?

“Dear lady, can you hear the wind blow and did you know, you’re stairway lies on the whispering wind?”

Strofa XII
Can we hear on the slight breeze that blows
The master’s cabalistic commandments
And seek out the tree where it grows
And the path towards spiritual refinement?

“And as we wind on down the road, our shadows taller than our soul…”

Strofa XIII
The depths are wider than they can show
Wind unwinds the message already told
The lady banks and turns again to go
The magic words anchor’d, sweep inside her folds.

“There walks a lady we all know who shines white light and wants to show, how everything still turns to gold…”

Strofa XIV
Above/beyond the Id there shine a star
That tells the sailors where next to turn
But can it get us fast enough or far
Past smoke from bridges we have burned

“And if you listen very hard, the tune will come to you at last; when all are one and one is all, yeah…To be a rock and not to roll!”

Strofa XV
The quiet song of now comes whizzing fast
Our future can’t escape the sunken past.

Answer by Intrusivosity With Medium Doubt
I’m late
for my Orb wax
and sans pubis ripped and tossed
tiny little sparrows
from San Luis Obispo -will
piggyback La Ninià
to (the) Adriatico -
hang their Vandross’ian bill-bents
and call my almonds
casa di loro.
