Ok, first of all I know this question might seem simple and probably stupid to some… but I am tech challenged. My question: I have heard you can access your home computer from an iPad with certain apps you can download for your ipad. Ok…. so…. my weird question…. does your home computer have to be turned on for this to work? Without turning it on how would my ipad access it? Doesn’t my home computer need something as basic as “electric power” to be able to make this whole access thing work? Thanks!

“does your home computer have to be turned on for this to work? ” – Yes, and it must be connected to the Internet also. You also have to enable “remote access ” on your home computer.
