Why does Obama refuse to allow off-shore drilling now in order to lower gas prices now and offer no resolution to the problem of rising gas prices now other than to insist that we must ” develop alternative fuel souces ” which MIGHT reduce energy costs 20 years from now ?

Doesn’t Obama realize that America has a fuel problem now and can’t wait 20 years to ” develop alternative fuel sources ” ?
